African Lions in savannah

African Lions in savannah

There is nothing like sitting in a safari jeep somewhere in Africa and be a witness of Great migration when over 1.4 million wildebeests and 200,000 zebras and gazelles tracked by great predators, migrate in the biggest world natural spectacle over 1,800 miles each year in search of rain ripened grass.
Kruger Park-Spotting the Big Five, trek across the Namibia deserts, trekking a lions in the Okavango Delta or searching for desert elephants on the Skeleton Coast cannot be replaced with any other experience.
There is nothing like sounds of animals in the distance, fresh air nights under the canvas and smell of the attempting rain in hot savannah. It can’t be described, replaced and explained. You know that only if you left you footprints there.
During the Safari trip you can be accommodated in safari camps or lodges in breathtaking location and dramatic scenery around you. The range varies from ultimate luxury accommodation with exceptional service to comfortable classic lodges and mobile camps.
Safari is life adventure, its jump to unknown, unpredictable and different and the things will never be the same.

Amazon River

The Amazon rainforest cover almost half of South America continent and it’s big enough to be a home to 30 % of animal and plant species in the world.  Stunning birds, butterflies, howler monkeys, macaws, jaguars, the mystical pink river dolphin, the largest snake –anaconda, poison dart frogs-brightly colored frog, more fish than in Atlantic Ocean and many of breathtaking animals which can’t be seen anywhere else.
There are the tribes that have never been in contact with the rest of the world and many other indigenous people, such as the Kayapo and the Makuxi. They use plants as medicine for centuries. Rainforest is home for all and feed them all.
The Amazon covers parts of nine South American countries: Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, French Guiana, and Suriname. 60 %of the rainforest is located in Brazil. Two major gateway airports are in Manaus (Brazil) and Iquitos (Peru).
You can stay in a jungle lodge or in Manaus and take day tours to the forest.Deforestation and threats to wildlife and Amazonian indigenous cultures are enormous problems in the Amazon basin. That’s why the forest needs us and our awareness.

“The thing that is most beautiful about Antarctica for me is the light.

It’s like no other light on Earth, because the air is so free of impurities.“
Jon Krakauer

Antarctica - Adelie Penguins

Antarctica – Adelie Penguins

There is something in feeling that you leave your footprints where few have ever stepped. Traveling to Antarctica is absolutely spectacular.  Extreme in scenic beauty, dramatic landscape, looming ice carvings, magical and unforgettable untouched nature with incredible wildlife and the animals who usually have a lack of fear from humans. Extreme weather conditions such as intense sun, wild wind, ice and extreme low temperatures take care of Antarctica. Here, like nowhere in the world you can travel through the Antarctic Sound, discover Penguins fascinating behavior, spot the seals and nematodes, mountains, islands, sheltered coves, experience Antarctica’s pink night skies and think is this whole beauty real.
There is no native population, permanent residents and vegetation is extremely limited. There are no hotels and restaurants. Scientists work there during the summer months. Experience of power of natural forces and impossibility of us- humans to win is one of the most powerful experiences somebody can have in the life. Recognition that we are part of a whole, and that we don’t exist separated from nature.
You can choose a cruise, or fly-cruise combination, or fly from Chile, South Africa and Australia and see the Antarctica from the air. But, there is something when you leave your footprints in the snow there…
Then you will believe.
